DHC Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ: DHCA) is a publicly-traded special purpose acquisition company (“SPAC”) focused on last mile technology solutions. Our mission is to invest in transportation, mobility, logistics, and security infrastructure that bring goods, people, or information to its final destination. Our expert team brings the necessary skills to find, merge with, and enhance the operations of last mile technology companies; including venture finance, institutional investing, logistics, and operations.
Our approach to business is based on teamwork, integrity and quiet professionalism, qualities we learned during our training in the military. In fact, our company name, DHC, stands for Duty, Honor, Country — a tribute to our West Point origins. We bring our unique military experience and a consistency and commonality around our values into the corporate world, building high performing teams in a range of specialized industries: investment banking, capital markets, asset management, technology, consumer, aviation, defense, and automotive. We are a tightly connected group of trusted and accomplished business builders. Our collective experience includes: 25 years running public companies, 8 companies founded, 13 companies acquired, and 40 years in military leadership.
We seek to merge with a leading technology or technology-enabled company, solving the challenges of the “last mile,” the short distance to cover to provide goods and services to end-users. We will acquire a company which is public-ready in sectors such as automotive, aerospace or defense, fintech, consumer, enterprise software, industrial IoT or e-commerce where we can add meaningful value, with management teams where we can connect and help drive value.
We bring a “Special Operations” culture, unique amongst special purpose acquisition (SPAC) management teams, that models selective, highly trained military units focused on a single operation. Our goal is to combine dependability, collaborative effort, approach and proficiency to drive elite performance for shareholders. This team-first approach focuses on injecting support, expertise, and partnership, enabling the company to push into the public phase and achieve the next wave of strategic imperatives.
